From September 12th 2011 our brand new single has been available on the official web-page of the band and also on iTunes and Amazon..  "Dead/Angels" turn over the first page of Kaltherzig's history. The release contains two original songs and remixes on it from Waves Under Water, Lily Of The Valley, Controlled Collapse and Mirrors Of Mind. There is also a little surprise on the single. It is a very special version of "Angels" song from Alexander Krupp (Kaltherzig leader). "Dead/Angels" is a farewell single which will force you to wait for Kaltherzig's new dawn.

01/05/2011 - Review of ‘The First Cold’ album appeared on AlterGothic.pl in Polish language  The First Cold CD is now available at all iTunes stores worldwide as digital distribution!

08/04/2011 - Kaltherzig took part in Cyberfront Festival 2011 in Kyiv (Ukraine) on May 7th. There they played with such bands as Covenant, side-project of In Strict Confidence: Steve Dragon, Eden Synthetic Corps, Obscenity Trial and some projects from Ukraine and Russia.

Their song ‘Cross The Night’ took part in compilation Shadow Places: Selected Tracks From The Darker Side. The idea for this compilation belongs to Altergothic.pl web-zine.

 

About Kaltherzig

The softness and smoothness of this music are able to wrap the listener in the texture of clear simple melodies and immerse in the atmosphere of different feelings.  There is no highly developed gothic-stage in Belarus. Nevertheless, Kaltherzig (also known as KAlt before) is a gothic project from this country. Kaltherzig started as one-man project. All music and lyrics were written by Alexander Krupp. But also one can find Alice and Nika Noname in line-up of the project today.  After the first promo CD ("Sip the Entity") the project was called "East European Blutengel" by the press. Is it true? Maybe, but only you will decide to compare this project or to taste their music.

“Even when I was young music was more than just an entertainment for me. It seems like I was always interested in music. New melodies are playing inside me all the time...  Rock music, friends, guitar.. it was my starting point...

There were many ideas in my head and I’ve decided to work in two ways at the same time: rock band and the project, which became Kaltherzig after all these years. Music is the art, I believe, that’s impossible to create without inspiration. If you play well, if you sing well, it doesn’t mean that you will create the greatest songs in history. You have to do it with inspiration.

Music should be simple, but it shouldn’t be empty.

 

Nika Noname

  

“I started singing in early childhood and from those ages I have fallen into a dependency of stage performances! First started as a solo singer, than as a member of pop-band, than Kaltherzig came into my life...

Lights, camera, action starts! Smiles on the faces, screaming-of-delight crowds, flashes of cameras, frequent concerts – that is what I am living for!

My talent and love to music I got from the dad, who writes wonderful poems. Strength and desire to work I took from my mum. My sister gave me energy and faith that all dreams come true! That’s why I'm too ambitious and I'm always striving for perfection! I have a great desire to create and bring light into people’s life by the source of my songs. I consider myself as a creative person and everything I do – I do for 100%+1.”

 

Alice

 

Alice is an extraordinary person who's strongly devoted to music. She has her own vision of reality.

Alice even tried herself as bass-guitar and then a drum player. But the search was finished, when she became a part of Kaltherzig.
