Cyber strike on human soil! The Colombian band Psyborg Corp. perfectly proves that Electro/Industrial and Harsh EBM bands do not necessarily have to come from Europe or the US. A strong Sci-Fi visual and lyrical concept added to powerful beats and catchy melodic lines make Psyborg Corp. one of the most promising new bands in the Electro/Industrial scene. In 2009 the band signs to german label NoiTekk and later in 2010 releases its debut album entitled "The Mechanical Renaissance", container cell of 12 tracks of a pure melodic Electro/Industrial Blast! Later in 2011, Psyborg Corp. wins the Best 2010 South American Band Award in the Orion Records Award held in Santiago de Chile. The band is currently working on its 2nd album "The Frozen Shrines of Obsÿdÿana". In June 2011 Psyborg Corp announced their signing to Glory & Honour (Russia/UK) Promotion Label and Booking Agency! The G&H crew warmly received them as one member of their family.
"The Frozen Shrines of Obsÿdÿana is the name of our upcoming album we've been calling TFSOO. As we have previously announced the album is already in the pre production stage; at this point we can tell you it will sound very different from "The Mechanical Renaissance" as lots of entirely new influences, elements, and sounds are being used in the composition! Logically keeping the Harsh EBM foundation but adding a whole new approach to it. The album will be entirely conceptual and it will narrate the story of Obsÿdÿana: the crystal planetary system orbited by seven crystallized spheres which will face a tremendous cataclysm testing the super advanced society and later bringing war and conflict all along the system."
