'Kult of Red Pyramid' (or in short 'KORP') was formed in 2008 by Ivan Rogar and Josip Fackovic. The duohas been involved in many music projects over more than 10 years, and has also been involved in independent film production since 2007.
KORP's musical style is described by some as dark-electro/industrial but many fans and people involved in the music industry like it very much because of its diverse sounds blending with the aforementioned 'dark-electro' genre. This is not so surprising because the roots of this project are drawn from the earlier alternative metal 'MAREBITO' and gothic 'D.O.E.' acts. A vast number of influences that are involved in the mind-sphere of this project have formed their own parts of what 'KORP' is today.
The first album 'Dark Red Light' an 8-track set of songs mostly made up of danceable electronic music marked the further progression of the direction where the band was headed, and was released independently through iTunes worldwide in June 2010. Since then the duo's has worked hard on the next more progressive harsh & heavier sounding 'Void Zero', which was released in Febraury 2012.
In February 2011 guest vocals from 'dreDDup' and Claus Larsen 'Leaetherstrip' were announced to perform on certain songs from 'Void Zero' resulting in brand new songs [BLUDGEONPIPE] 'Corrosion Demonstration' and 'Devil' being made, which set off another change in sound and production.
Let's not forget the duo's film-work, they've independently funded produced and shot the feature post-apocalyptic thriller VEKTOR in 2010 for which they also scored the entire original soundtrack. '
The duo has played live as Kult of Red Pyramid and previous projects and they now want to give this project much more exposure.
They describe themselves as a lonely project with great quality production put into it which wants to be heard by the world.
