Initially formed as a two-piece, Alix & Dvae played a number of gigs across the country, most notable of which was to a packed audience at the Resolution Hotel during Whitby Gothic Weekend in October 2009. In June 2010 they hosted and performed at their own mini-festival, Blackberry Fair in Cambridge, sharing the stage with notable bands such as Rhombus, Luxury Stranger and Screaming Banshee Aircrew. The following month they released their debut E.P. ‘Nothing Else But You’, receiving favourable reviews and gaining airplay on Nightbreed Radio.

Fast forward to 2011: now a three-piece, Last July's sound and stage presence has increased ten fold with the addition of Nevla on guitar. With a string of very successful gigs around the country and the release of their single 'Glamorous Parasite' the band go from strength to strength, with the highlight of opening York's DV8 Festival in July that year.

They start 2012 with a string of live appearances across the country, closely followed by the addition of a new bass player and the long-awaited release of their first full-length album. The end of the year is looking good so far with a second appearance at Whitby Gothic Weekend in November and plans for work on their second album underway...
